Healing Prayers, Mantrams and Invocations

Book review on
Prayers, Mantrams and Invocations

published by TSG Foundation.

Prayers, Mantrams and Invocations
is a
comprehensive yet compact book of some of the
most ancient prayers known to mankind. I have
read it several times finding even the lesser known
prayers equally as moving.

My personal favorite is the Great Invocation because
it contains the universal formulas for invoking God’s
Light, God’s Love and the Power of Goodwill, or
will-to-good. This is one powerful prayer packed with
the essence of wisdom, compassion and goodness
you and I seek in everyday life.

This text represents a diverse collection of sacred
prayers from most of the world’s great religions
and spiritual movements.

These prayers are words of power, also called
Mantra in the Sanskrit based traditions of Hinduism
and Buddhism. You can easily learn to use these
formulas for happiness and well being by reading
along. Many of the prayers or mantra are also
suitable for use in meditation and contemplation.
I recommend that you use them often to calm
your emotions and your mind and whenever you
need spiritual help to connect with the deeper
side of life.

In section 1, author Torkom Saraydarian gives
the deeper meanings of five of the greatest
mantrams in the world. The five principle mantrams
with explanations are:

* The Great Invocation
* The Sons of Men are One
* Affirmation of a Disciple
* Gayatri
* Prayer to Shamballa

In section 2 you will discover a collection of over
100 beautiful prayers, mantra and invocations taken
from every major spiritual or religious tradition
throughout the world.

This work is a perfect companion to use
during your times of meditation and prayer. 109
pages, spiral bound. A bonus of one set of five
Tibetan prayer flags, plus an explanation of the
meaning of Tibetan prayer flags.
