The event is organized by Whole Child International.
The non-profit organization Whole Child International works in existing children’s institutions to improve the quality of care and help prevent the bleak outcomes that await most children raised in the world’s orphanages.
Whole Child is presently focusing their efforst in the central American countries of Nicaragua and El Salvador where they serve those in the greatest need. It is their belief that as long as orphanages exist, there should be a concerted effort to develop cost-effective interventions with the intention of ensuring that the children will receive the basic psychological tools needed to succeed in education, work, relationships, and families of their own.
