At this time of year when we are eating at another person’s home there is always an issue with food “preferences.” Preferences are how all karma is created. We love this thing/food/drink, but hate or are “allergic” to that thing/food/drink. Whereas, all foods are sacred when eaten as gifts from the bounty of God.
The best approach is to do as monks and nuns do in Asian countries do: accept whatever is offered with gratitude, no preferences, no complaining and whining. True gratitude transforms everything into Amrita!
What is Amrita?
Amrita can be understood in many ways, but is basically that which transforms all negativity into positive energy. If you accept what is given to you at Thanksgiving or any special time as blessed substance, then it is nourishing not only your body, but your emotions, mind and even soul. When someone prepares Thanksgiving food or any meal with loving-kindness, this is the real meal. The real meal is the love energy within the food each person prepared. What you are eating, the food, is the medium through which loving-kindness is the message or gift. It is the gift of love which is eaten at a deeper level, not just potatoes, green beans, stuffing, gravy, turkey, fish or bread rolls. Eat as though love is the gift you are receiving.

With love and compassion,
It is easy to write about love. It is easier still to talk about love. You see and read about people speaking about love in articles, on Facebook, Twitter and on TV. But, only when we become love itself through shining from the inside, will the love within us become real Love.
By releasing the Divine Radiance within at the core of your heart, Love truly becomes aligned with who you are at every level. The rest is just babbling, rehearsing and practice. Acting like you know love when there is an imbalance between thoughts, words and actions which contradict love, creates a wall between real Divine love and make believe love. Deeper connections with your core Self bring one closer to the Presence of God in every other person which is when the energy flows naturally. This is when the miracle of love becomes abundant. These moments of true connection unite you with others rather than divide you from within.
With real love the knots of anger, mistrust, hatred, jealousy and competitiveness inside you become loser, softer and unravel more naturally. This is a gradual process, thus don’t stress about the time table. Simply allow Divine Love to do it’s work in your life because in the final analysis it’s the only journey each of us is on anyway.
What are the signs you are become aligned with real Divine Love within your heart?
There are four ways to increase love in your life:
1. You become accepting of the differences in other cultures, races, sexes, religions and nations. You understand how God’s glory manifests in wondrous, limitless ways adapting the rainbow of life into each plant, animal, person, family, nation, religion and culture. This is the “all roads lead to Rome” experience where you affirm all good roads of love lead back to God. You gradually stop judging by affirming, “God works in many ways to reveal the splendor of life.”
2. You become harmless in through your speech, thoughts and actions. Only through harmlessness can love manifest in your life. Love can be strong, tough and even challenge others to be their best but it does not reject people nor harm them. But, your speech becomes less and less harsh, less judgmental and increasingly supportive of the good within each person.
You begin to affirm, “Live and let live, each is on their own journey of love to find their way home to the heart of Love.”
3. Love makes you willing to serve others because their needs are your needs. In some way, you allow all you do to be a source of service even if it’s just dedicating the merit or positive karma from daily actions to the welfare of everyone. This motivation does not diminish the quality of your life, rather is enhances it tremendously. Service becomes the act of naturally, effortlessly just connecting with another human being by expressing your true goodness.
In the spirit of service you begin to affirm, “The welfare of another is my concern. I will do what I can within my means to serve in the most appropriate way possible.”
4. Love releases a spirit of generosity within you. When you love others there is an intrinsic desire to give, share and offer something to those who need your kindness. It doesn’t mean giving money necessarily. But, you want to help with acts of kindness, sharing a hug, encouraging words and supportive thoughts. Generosity is often feeding a friend who comes to visit, offering them a cup of tea or sharing supportive words. Your time given is a gift in addition to anything else you offer. When you give of yourself, you are being generous.
My colleague Wayne Dyer is teaching a workshop on Divine Love in Maui this coming January 26-27th, 2013. If you are interested, and feel so moved read on, and then click on the banner below to learn more and get tickets.
During this workshop, Wayne will teach you one of the most powerful meditation tools in the history of the world—the beautiful I AM Meditation—a chanting of the exact sounds associated with the name of God found in the Old Testament—that has truly become our gateway to Divine Love.
Wayne Dyer has put together a series where he teaches how to cleanse the connecting link between what you have come to believe about yourself and who you really are. You are Divine; step into the Divine Love. This is your true Self, true core identity. We have learned by living in world that we are many roles, titles, images, our possessions, homes, and status symbols. But, in truth this is not who you are, rather these are the way you’ve dressed yourself in modern life to fit into society.

During the Midland TX Vets parade, 4 people were killed in a train parade float accident. My heart goes out to the families, friends, attendees, and especially those who passed away during what was a positive celebration honoring wonderful human beings who sacrificed themselves in military service. If you have not heard, please take a look at this article: 4 Dead as Train Hits Vets’ Parade in Midland, Texas, late this afternoon.
Why such terrible tragedies like this happen is a mystery. I thought the crossing guards would have prevented the drivers from entering the trains’ path? My love and blessings to all affected. And, I know everyone reading this story feels the same care, concern and support.
Please join me in prayers for the next 40 days while those who passed away are in their transitional period after leaving their bodies. May they know healing, comfort and protection during this time.
Three things you can do for those who have passed away?
1. Remember them with gratitude for the time they gave in service to our country as veterans.
2. Honor their memory in prayers during your evening prayer time, at church or while driving to work. Turning off the radio for a short while and praying while you drive is a good use of commuting. There is no need for closing one’s eyes in prayer, or you do not need to bow your head. Just say, “May God’s blessings for healing, comfort and protection be with those who lost their lives during the Midland
Vets’ Parade. Amen.”
3. Remember with kindness anyone who has served in our country. A large portion of the homeless are vets, or unemployed. Often times Vets who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan are struggling with PTSD. When you help a Vet receive support in any way, you are helping all Vets. Healing Vets helps heal yourself.
Vets appreciate thank you’s but more important they need assistance returning to civilian life. Many Vets remark they appreciate the thank you’s but wish people would ask, “How can I help you adjust to civilian life.” Or, “Is there any way I can be of assistance to you?” A thank you is a great start, but don’t stop there.
Hay House is moving into the short feature motion picture business with the DVD series Tales of Everyday Magic.
What better topic any time of year than sharing a story about abandonment, the struggle to heal and final resolution through forgiveness. This story has universal appeal as everyone has experienced abandonment in some form or another. If you’ve ever been faced with the wound of a parent not being there in your life this may be the healing story you need to work through the tears, anger, hurt and resentments
Directed by Michael Goorjian, and co-written Kristen Lazarian. Patrick Fabian stars in the short feature.
There is some commentary and hosting by author, spiritual teacher and now movie star Wayne Dyer. Dr. Dyer also cooperated as well as co-starred in The Shift with Portia De Rossi.
I’d give this a look, and think you will enjoy the other features in the 4 DVD series as well; Entangelment, The Magic Hand and The Greatest Teacher.
Here is the summary from the liner notes …
“Dr. Ryan Kilgore is a college professor struggling to take his career to his desired level of success, while battling the very demons that are keeping him from achieving it. Kilgore is tormented by the memories of his father’s abandonment, yet his wife and child are the ones who pay the price. Upon losing his grandmother, Kilgore desperately seeks the closure that he needed so long ago as he puts his future in jeopardy for a journey into the past. Through a series of mysterious and serendipitous events, a path opens that leads Kilgore to his father—and to making the choice to rebuild everything he has destroyed as a result of what had been destroying him.”

Which virtue will you activate today?
We have plenty of inspiring words shared on Facebook, on Twitter, in books, poems, sermons and songs. What is needed now is the courage to act. Action is the basis of real change. Take action to engage simply one virtue today. Plant the seeds and tend to them each day.
My activation step is the determination to express my creativity. Creativity is how I feel empowered to express the thoughts, words and actions which help others. For me, it means taking three steps:
1. Getting outside my comfort zone,
2. Identifying the next most logical step to make a difference and 3. Taking this step consistently each day
Big change takes place from taking small, successive steps on a regular basis. Make 1″ steps each day adds up to 30′ in one year. What if your steps were just 2″, 4″ or 6″? It doesn’t sound huge, but this is the point. Just begin on your intention to make a difference, then measure your progress over time. Don’t underestimate the power of compounding your progress over time.
When you hold back it is because there is fear of success, fear of failure or fear that you cannot make a difference. You can make a difference in your life. Who knows what ripples are caused by your taking whatever step you need to in order to work through an energy block, financial block, relationship block, career obstacle or other challenge being faced now. Don’t wait for your church leader, neighbor, life partner or government to help you. Self-reliance is powerful.

With love and compassion,
People speak of heaven and hell without realizing it is right within your midst. When your heart overflows with loving-kindness, joy and a sense of unity with all beings, then you are in heaven. And, when your heart is filled with contempt, arrogance, superiority, hatred and greed you are in hell.
Love is healing because it brings us closer to the true heart of Love within us all. Any sense of separatism leads to disconnection from your source of happiness, health and well-being. Start and end your day with thoughts of love.
You can chose heaven or hell with each thought, word and action. If you want more happiness chose love while casting off whatever is out of unison with the beauty and splendor of loving-kindness.
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

Wishes Fulfilled: Master the Art of Manifesting
This lecture is dedicated to your mastery of the art of realizing all your desires. The greatest gift you have been given is the gift of your imagination. Everything that now exists was once imagined. And everything that will ever exist must first be imagined. Wishes Fulfilled is designed to take you on a voyage of discovery, wherein you can begin to tap into the amazing manifesting powers that you possess within you and create a life in which all that you imagine for yourself becomes a present fact. Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explores the region of your highest self; and definitively shows you how you can truly change your concept of yourself, embark upon a God-realized way of living, and fulfill the spiritual truth that with God all things are possible-and “all things” means that nothing is left out.
By practicing the specific technique for retraining your subconscious mind, you are encouraged to not only place into your imagination what you would like to manifest for yourself, but you are given the specifics for realigning your life so you can live out your highest calling and stay connected to your Source of being. From the lofty perspective of your highest self, you will learn how to train your imagination in a new way. Your wishes-all of them-can indeed be fulfilled.
BRUCE LIPTON’s Lecture:
The Science of Personal and Global Transformation
We are in the midst of an incredible evolutionary event. Leading edge science is shattering old myths and rewriting the fundamental beliefs of human civilization. Cell biologist and bestselling author, Bruce H. Lipton offers a “new” biology that takes us beyond economic collapse, climate change and religious extremes to reveal that such chaos is a natural step in an unfolding process, rather than the tragic end to a broken planet.
A revolution in science provides new awareness that will help us navigate this turbulent period in our planet’s history and reveals how each of us can actively participate in this global evolutionary shift. Based on his bestselling books, Biology of Belief and Spontaneous Evolution, Bruce presents frontier science that illuminates the hidden connections among biology, psychology, spirituality and our imminent evolutionary upheaval. This dynamic presentation on the nature of how consciousness interfaces biology reveals how our thoughts, attitudes and beliefs create the conditions of our body and our place in the world. Rich in detail, yet accessible to the layperson, Bruce’s multimedia presentation offers new awareness that can facilitate our evolution from passive victims to responsible co-creators, while simultaneously offering the opportunity to heal ourselves and the planet.
If you are living far from the event or would like to attend but cannot for any reason then take advantage of the NEW! – Online Video Stream opportunities.
Watch Dr. Wayne Dyer and Bruce H. Lipton Ph.D. live from the comfort of your own home. Hay House is bringing you the LIVE Video Stream plus, when you register by November 10, you’ll receive and On Demand Video Stream available for you to watch again at your leisure for up to 60 days!

A quote for you from Master Morya.
“Quality of thinking must be realized as healing. Gratitude is likewise the finest purifier of the organism. He who has found the seed and realized the care of the Sender can project gratitude into space. Great is the healing power of the emission of gratitude. One must transform everything abstract into reality.” Master Morya, Agni Yoga.
In this message, Master Morya is providing some insights into the power of gratitude as an agent for purifying our mind, emotions and body from negative forces which lead to dis-ease, illness and suffering. Gratitude is often mentioned as one of the primary sources of riding the mind of burdensome thoughts. With this clear piece of advise He urges you to use gratitude as a purifier not only of your own personality, but to heal space and your relationships with others.
Gratitude creates balance in the human psyche. Illness is imbalance while healing is the core meaning of health. Try this, and let me know how it works for you.
The etymological of the word guru in Sanskrit language is this: ‘gu’ means darkness and ‘ru’ means light. As such ‘guru’ literally translates to mean ‘the one who brings you from darkness to light.’ Unfortunately, the word has been degenerated and popularized into fraudulent meanings which are pure nonsense. If a sacred concept becomes corrupted it creates false meanings, as well as blocking the blessings from the minds of those who hear it wrongly used.
Additionally, guru can be used as an adjective in Sanskrit meaning “heavy.” Thus, it can literally translate to the guru being a spiritual teacher of great weight, as in “the heavy one.” Weight in this sense refers to how much value the guru has in helping you mature as a human being in all dimensions of life.
In Tibetan Buddhism the greatest guru is Guru Rinpoche , or Padmasambhava. He is the teacher, guide and guardian of all beings without exception. Guru Rinpoche is also looked to by all the followers of four schools of Tibetan Buddhism as a protector, teacher, healer and true spiritual parent to all beings.
The Tibetans call their cherished tradition of Tibetan Buddhism awish-fulfilling jewel tree for its power to generate bliss, reveal wisdom and enlightenment within all who absorb its teachings. And, the guru is at the center of this path to enlightenment. It is taught the one requires more than a sitting meditation practice alone, but the presence of a living master, a guru and teacher with accomplishments to share with the disciples. The spiritual teacher transmits living wisdom energy to the disciples as a mother who gives milk to nourish her young.
At the depth of the word guru is the intention to express the power of light to awaken you to your inner glory. Light helps you to see life more clearly. As your light increases so does your health, happiness and prosperity. This is one of the most practical lessons anyone can learn. It ties you to truth, why you were born, learning life’s great lessons, removing suffering, increasing happiness and good relations with family, friends and a life partner. What could be more profoundly good for your daily life?
In western popular culture, such as TV or radio news shows, the word guru is incorrectly used in a sacrilegious way to mean, an expert in a field of worldly knowledge. As often happens with typical of vacuous news makers, they bandy powerful words about without the authentic understanding of such a sacred concept. This is an insult to all true spiritual people from any culture, but especially to the several billion Buddhists, Hindus and Jain followers.
If you hear someone using the word guru, gently admonish them with a reminder this is a sacred concept on par with the name of Christ, The Guardian Angels, Archangels and all that is held sacred.
A great course on the subject of guru-disciple relationships can be found at a site we recommend. The inspirational and educational training class is called, ‘Love, Service, Devotion, and the Ultimate Surrender Ram Dass on The Bhagavad Gita: A Heart-Centered Spiritual Classic for Your Ever-Changing Life’ by spiritual teacher Ram Dass. This course explores man’s eternal connection to God, Source and inner truth.
Blessings and wishes for you to one day connect to a real guru – the Guardian Angel or Solar Angel within your own mind.
