Caring for one another creates a from the , God and the Masters which you often times never imagine in the beginning of the experience. You never really know where the will lead you at the outset of the experience. But, if you reach out to someone around you that is hurting and in need, often you receive the gift of love in return.

Here is a story my friend Monika shared with me recently. See if this story of caring for another creates a for you too. You might find yourself knodding your head in agreement, “Yes, I have been there when I performed a random act of kindness.”

“Someone just gave me a prescious gift. While drinking my cup of coffee outside at a cafe I was feeling slightly alone. A disabled man approached me asking for food. My first reaction was judgement because of his appearance. But then something happened. I bought him as much food that I could afford to. He ate with me at my table while I drank my coffe. We sat together for some time talking about life. The love that I felt towards him was priceless. His name is Edward. I want to thank Edward for this gift of love we experienced in a moment where two people sharing some time together just being there with one another. Edward reached out when in need, and I reached back to help him have a nice meal. I lost the feeling of loneliness and was given a precious gift by seeing that when we help someone, we feel love too. I don’t feel alone anymore. I realized we are ALL ONE family here to help each other in times of need.”

When you express love and compassion towards others through random acts of kindness something amazing happens. You are blessed as well by the energy of love flowing through us to that person in need. We know love through expressing love. We experience love when giving love in service to others. Love is a current that is ours only when we maintain the flow of love.

When the opportunity presents itself to help someone, reach out. You are a servant of love when you express love and compassion to others.

Couples Arguments Cause Clogged Arteries

A recent study of men and women’s communication styles in relationships at the University of Utah revealed that contentious, angry and negative arguments between couples significantly increased the risk of clogged arteries. Women’s hearts were affected negatively by hostile comments from men, while men’s hearts were also adversely affected by domineering, controlling words from women. If you think eating a low fat diet is important in maintaining heart and cardiovascular health and , then you now have another Ah ha to consider for overall health.

Disagreements are a natural part of being in relationships. This includes our relationships with siblings, mates, parents, neighbors and friends. Conflict is inevitable but how you resolve conflict presents many creative choices. The question is this: Are you aware or mindful enough to see the choices in the present moment?

It is far better to honor each other through discussion vs. attacking the other person. This is essential for physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. It takes 100 kind acts to heal 1 negative act. Peaceful communication about conflict trumps attacking your partner, friend or family member. Words can so easily wound another human being.

If you gradually train the mind and emotions to express themselves more expansively, calmly and with greater awareness under your wise guidance, then unimaginably will emerge in your relationships. But, this process of good communication first starts within your own self. You must begin to have a mindful relationship to your own mind, emotions and body, and then great things begin to emerge as a result.

The physical, emotional and mental bodies are very much like children that need the gradual daily discipline or guidance from a parent. You as a soul are function through the personality. You are much like a parent in relation to your personality bodies. They need to be trained to respond with positive expressions rather than react in anger, greed, jealousy, lust, hatred and fear. Meditation trains the mind and emotions to slow down just enough to be redirected towards happier expressions rather than negative reactions.

Do You Understand Happiness?

As I read the current literature presented from so many get rich quick, or prosperity teachers, they present the idea that having more money, the perfect relationship, the dream job, a bigger house, newer car, fancier vacations are the pinnacle of happiness. These are false teachings. It is good to be prosperous but is this the ? Take a look at many wealth celebrities or other rich and famous people in our society. Are they truly happy?

I don’t think we understand happiness too well. If you see Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey or any other wealthy person as an example of happiness, you are missing the value right in your own heart and mind. You have access to as much happiness as you can imagine in your own Self.

There truly isn’t a way or path to happiness. Happiness is the way or the path. Relative happiness or favorable conditions are helpful but not the causes of happiness. Happiness is the cause. Conditions are the effects, or by-products of happiness. When chasing the effects the cause of happiness will escape us! We need favor conditions in daily life, but without a strong connection to the within us, the outter conditions are empty, and feel unfulfilling.

You need to be reminded of this message about real happiness often because the world around you is full of deluded messages that you are not good enough, or that without this or that product something is missing in your life. Prayers and Healing Thoughts for Haiti

According to Lord Gautama Buddha, “We are what
we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts, we make the world.”

Never underestimate the and prayer,
especially when united for the welfare of family,
friends and those on our planet in greatest need.

At this time of crisis caused by the Haitian earthquake
many are joining together to pray for 5 minutes or 10
minutes each day for the coming month beginning January
15th – February 15th. If you spend time in daily meditation,
then add these prayers at the end of your sacred time.

Focus the prayer in your heart center when praying for
the People of Haiti. Your heart is an electro-magnet which
connects with the source of God’s love energy. It can act to
distribute that compassionate love energy very effectively.

I have included a special prayer shown below, called the
Great Invocation. This prayer or invocation is very
powerful because it calls into action God’s light,
love and the power of goodwill.

Pray for the healing, recovery and well being of the Haitian
people, and those hard working, good hearted people actively
involved in relief work.

Your commitment and consistent prayers and thoughts
towards people of Haiti will undoubtedly go along way to
bless and make a power of peace and joy towards every
people in this world.

It is the right time for each one of us to prove our CARE being
a human being and of course to generate global brotherhood
among every human being.

We also urge you to pray and think about the animals that are
also became the victim of this situation.

May your hearth smile with kindness and care more deeply for
for all the beings.

As you recite this prayer, pause between each stanza seeing
First light, then love then the power of goodwill flowing as
light into Haiti, then supporting all involved, both victims and
relief workers. Visualize or image God’s blessings in many
ways working to heal, comfort and sustain everyone
involved in the relief process.

Comforting Words in Troubled Times

Comforting Words in Troubled Times.

When you are facing hardship, use your breathe to stay connected to life and to hope.

Are you ?

at this moment?

It will be ok, you are here reading this, and seeking relief. That is good. Keep doing that.

Maybe you are feeling lonely, emotionally beaten down, discouraged, tired of too many trials, spread thin by another change, or another challenge, but always remember that life is a journey. Whatever you are facing it will pass.

Try this healing and comforting method right now:

1. Take 7 slow, deep breathes, counting to 7 when inhaling, hold the breathe for just a moment.

2. Now release your breathe to the count of 7, very naturally, and with ease.

3. While you inhale, think comforting words while you draw into your lungs, such as thoughts of joy, calmness, kindness towards yourself or a loved one. Remind yourself that whatever is troubling you will pass, and you are ok. If you want to, let the challenging feelings dissolve into a cloud of white light in front of you while exhaling. Imagine those troubles being dissolved into the light.

4. Unite your positive thoughts, with positive feelings and keep breathing. This is essential. Breathing is affirming life. The act of breathing connects you.

5. Stay connected to the present moment, just now, and then just now….

6. Remind yourself that whatever you are facing, it is only temporary.

7. Life has a cyclic quality to it. There are 4 seasons. If today feel like winter rendered a snow storm, reminder yourself that winter passes, with the melting of the snow giving rise to spring.

Difficulties have a way of eventually being seen as blessings as time passes. Your inner nature or true Self is always present. It will outlive whatever you are facing today.
